ESTIMATING SHIPPING COSTS

To determine the shipping cost, add product to shopping cart and click on the "shipping estimator" icon located at the bottom left of your shopping cart page.

CHOOSING THE CORRECT SHIPPING BOX when using the USPS:


-20 feet of hose DOES NOT fit into a Priority Mail ENVELOPE!
-Three Sanke Kegs taps DO NOT fit into a small Priority Mail Box!
These buyers had to wait longer while we invoiced them for proper box size and postage!

Please use the following dimensions to help you choose the correct box size.
Doing so will help eliminate delays and extra shipping fees.

PRIORITY MAIL SMALL BOX: 5-3/8”h x 8-5/8”w x 1-5/8”d
PRIORITY MAIL MEDIUM BOX: 11"h X 8.5"w X 5.5"d
PRIORITY MAIL LARGE BOX: 12”h x 12”w x 5 1/2”d
PRIORITY MAIL GENERAL: Any sized box; based on weight. This can be cheaper than Flat Rate.

ACTUAL SHIPPING CHARGES:

THE CHI COMPANY -ALWAYS- REFUNDS BACK TO YOU FOR THE REAL COST OF SHIPPING.
For Example:   You choose USPS Priority Mail MEDIUM Flat Rate Box but we can acutally ship your order in the smaller & cheaper "Regional Rate A" box. We will ship your order in the smaller box and REFUND THE COST DIFFERENCE BACK TO YOUR METHOD OF PAYMENT. 

SHIPPING WITH YOUR ACCOUNT:

  • We can ship using your UPS or FedEx account number.
    For the shipping method, choose "Store Pickup" so no shipping cost will be added to the order.
  • During checkout, in the "Special Instructions" text entry box, type
  • "Ship using xxx account # xxx"

PARTS LOCATIONS AND SHIPPING TYPES:

Note: Any model number ending with an "ih"  ships directly from our California warehouse. Any model number without the "ih" ships directly from one of our 40+ associated locations or the part manufacturer. No in-store pick up is available for parts that do not have "ih". We can not control the speed of processing your order at an associate location of the mfg.  though they strive to ship within 24 hours.

Once your order is confirmed through our cart you will receive a confirmation email notice. We will then process your order. Shipments leave our facility within 24 to 48 hours, depending on item and any setup time required for large machinery.

WE SHIP VIA:

  • UPS: Ground, 3-Day, 2-Day, Next Day service - APO/FPO zip codes are OK,
  • USPS: Priority Mail & Priority Mail International.
  • Common Carrier: Forward Air, Freightquote.com, Saia, Motor Cargo, Central Freight, Yellow Freight, etc., or any common carrier that you may already have an account with.
  • You may pick up at our facility at no charge.

PRIORITY MAIL NOTICE:

The USPS Priority Mail website delivery times are historically slow. If they show a domestic U.S. delivery time of 4 days, expect 4 to 6 business days transit time. For International orders if their website shows 7 to 14 days, expect 14 to 30 days. We don't like their times, but these are what we historically experience.

TRACKING NUMBERS:

  • Upon processing your order we email you confirmation and include your tracking number(s)
  • UPS WorldShip also will automatically email you your tracking number to the email address shown on your payment form when we process the UPS "end of day" processing.
  • For all U.S.P.S. methods above 1st class; The USPS will automatically email you your tracking number.
  • Shipping via domestic Parcel Post-Economy Surface, with a tracking number, is NOT offered by the U.S.P.S.

Keep this in mind when choosing your shipping method: Without the added U.S.P.S. service fees for insurance & tracking, we can not replace/refund "lost" shipments.

"DELIVERED" / PROCESSED ORDERS:

After we process your order and update your status our website emails you the change in status to "Delivered". "Delivered" is the site's way of denoting that we have processed your order and it is scheduled to be picked up by your chosen delivery carrier. "DELIVERED" DOES NOT MEAN YOUR ORDER HAS ARRIVED AT YOUR LOCATION (thus you can't find it or you think it was stolen from your front door, etc.)

INTERNATIONAL SHIPMENTS:

  • We gladly ship World Wide via UPS, U.S.P.S., DHL and FedEx. We can ship using your shipper account number.
  • U.S.P.S. International Parcel Post (economy surface) is no longer offered by the U.S.P.S. As of 9/1/07 we are investigating other economical methods of shipping large & heavy items to our International buyers.
  • Bulk Shipments - Depending on the quantity, size and weight of the items ordered, we can ship in 20' & 40' cargo containers both domestically and internationally.

Shipping Insurance Rates:

US Postal Service Insurance - Purchased Online

  • Provides up to $500 indemnity coverage.
  • Available for domestic and Global Express Guaranteed® online labels printed with postage.
  • Has the same fees as insurance purchased at a Post Office and is based on the amount of coverage needed up to $500.
  • May not be combined with insurance purchased at a Post Office.

RETURN POLICY

The product(s) you have received and want to return may have come from different warehouse locations, therefore:
1.SAVE YOUR PACKAGE LABEL from the outside of the delivery box.
2.On the outside of the return package, WRITE: "CHICOMPANY RETURN. RMA # XXX (where xxx is your original order number) 
3.RETURN YOUR ITEM TO THE ORIGIN LOCATION.

Upon receipt of package by the warehouse and notification by the warehouse to us, we will post a refund to the same funding source you originally used (cc, feepal, etc.).

-THE ORIGINAL SHIPPING COST & ANY STATE TAX IS NOT REFUNDABLE unless an error was made by The CHI Company in sending an incorrect part from original order.

We will refund/exchange only after we receive your returned product in its original condition.

DOWNLOADABLE FILES & VENDING DVD:
Due to the nature of the products, all downloadable products and the Vending Label DVD are not refundable. Defective DVDs can be exchanged free of any charges.
