- HOW TO SIZE YOUR CLAMPS:
- In general - Fitting a clamp over the hose is similar to fitting a ring on your finger. There should be sufficient freeplay to get the clamp on and off.
- Before selecting a clamp here, check the individual listings in this catagory for the most popular sizes.
- For hose with an O.D. smaller than 5/8"- Use a clamp ONE size larger than hose O.D.
- For hose with an O.D. larger than 5/8" - Usually there is enough "freeplay" built into the clamp to allow it to slide onto the hose, therfore; Use a clamp of the SAME Size as the hose O.D.
