Vanilla Tehitensis

Highly valued for its flavor which is described as pure, spicy and delicate and its complex floral aroma depicted as a peculiar bouquet.

Vanilla has been most commonly used in Porters, Stouts and other dark, rich beers.

Use 1-2 beans per 5 gallon batch depending on level of vanilla flavor desired. Slice length-wise, and add to secondary for best aroma.

The whole bean may be used in food, tea, and cosmetics, and is abundantly found as a liquid flavoring extract in a base of alcohol.
