How to order Clamps & Ferrules to properly fit hose:

IN GENERAL - Fitting a clamp or ferrule over the hose is similar to fitting a ring on your finger. There should be sufficient "play" to get it on and off.
FOR SMALLER THAN 5/8" O.D. hose - The rule of thumb is to use the next size LARGER than the hose O.D.
FOR LARGER THAN 5/8" O.D. hose - Normally there is sufficient "play" built into the clamp or ferrule to allow for it to fit properly when the same size as the  hose O.D. is ordered. 

APPLICATIONS:

One ear, Stepless, stainless steel is used for complete sealing. The entire inner circumference of the clamp is completely free of any steps, gaps or bridges, for no-leak seals. Low & medium pressure.

Two ear clamps are best used for high pressure.

One ear clamp is best used where speed and economy is important. Low & medium pressure.
